Okay, so I was just messing around online earlier, you know how it is. Had The Chosen on my mind, wondering when we'd actually get to see Season 5. It’s been a bit of a wait, hasn't it?
I’m the type who likes to check things out for myself, not just take someone’s word for it on a forum post. So, I started doing a little digging. Wanted to see if there was anything official, anything concrete.
Spent a bit of time sifting through articles and fan discussions. You get a lot of noise with popular shows, trying to find the real info. It's not always straightforward, you know? You click here, read that, try to see what source is actually saying what.
And then, I stumbled onto something that seemed pretty solid. Looks like Dallas Jenkins himself, the director, actually announced it. He let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, during one of his updates or interviews, from what I could gather.
So, here’s the deal I pieced together from what I found: The Chosen Season 5, Part 1, is slated to hit the big screens on March 27, 2025. Yep, that's the date they’re giving out now. They're doing that theatrical release thing again, which is interesting.
What’s interesting is, I'd heard before, and I think many folks were expecting, that they were aiming for sometime in April 2025. That was the previous buzz, if you recall. So, this March 27th date is actually a bit sooner. A nice little surprise for those of us waiting. Shaves off a few weeks, which is always a good thing when you're anticipating something.
Anyway, that's what I found out from my little search session. Good to have an actual date pinned down instead of just guessing. Thought I’d share my little discovery process and the outcome. Now we just gotta wait, I suppose. At least the wait has a clearer end point now.
