Alright, let’s talk about this Jesus shot thing. Heard folks whisperin’ ’bout it, seein’ it on the TV. Folks wonderin’ if anyone’s up and died from gettin’ it. Well, let me tell ya, ain’t heard nothin’ ’bout nobody croakin’ from it. But that don’t mean it ain’t got folks talkin’, that’s for sure.
See, this doctor fella down in Oklahoma, some kinda big shot name of Lonergan, he’s the one givin’ this Jesus shot. Calls it that ’cause he says it takes away the pain, makes ya feel good as new. Now, I ain’t no doctor, but I reckon pain’s somethin’ we all gotta deal with, one way or another. But this fella, he’s mixin’ up some kinda special juice, somethin’ with vitamin B12 and some other long word I can’t pronounce, and jabbin’ it into folks.
Some folks swear by it, say it’s a miracle cure. Like that Sid Miller fella, used to ride them buckin’ broncos. He says he gets the Jesus shot and it helps his achin’ bones. Went all the way to Austin to talk to the bigwigs about it, he did. But then you got other folks, sayin’ this doctor’s up to no good. Questionin’ his practices, they are. Wonderin’ what’s really in that shot.

- They say he ain’t tellin’ folks what’s in it.
- They say he’s makin’ big bucks off folks’ misery.
Now, I don’t know who to believe. But it makes ya think, don’t it? This doctor, he’s a former federal somethin’ or other, used to work for the government. You’d think he’d know what he’s doin’. But then again, you hear stories ’bout these fancy doctors gettin’ in trouble, don’t ya? Makes a body wonder if they’re really lookin’ out for us regular folks, or just tryin’ to make a quick buck.
And this Jesus shot thing, it’s been goin’ on for a while now, back since 2014. If it was really killin’ folks, you’d think we’d hear about it, right? The news would be all over it. But all I hear is whispers and rumors. Folks talkin’ about investigations and controversy, but nothin’ solid, nothin’ definite.
It’s all a big mystery, if you ask me. And I ain’t one for mysteries. I like things plain and simple, black and white. If somethin’ works, it works. If it don’t, it don’t. But this Jesus shot, it’s somewhere in between. Seems to work for some folks, but others are sayin’ it’s dangerous. Makes ya wonder if it’s worth the risk.
So, has anyone died from the Jesus shot? Like I said, ain’t heard nothin’ ’bout it. But that don’t mean it ain’t somethin’ to be cautious about. If you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ it, you best do your research, talk to your own doctor, see if it’s right for you. Don’t just go jumpin’ on the bandwagon ’cause some fella says it’s a miracle cure.
Life’s too short to be takin’ unnecessary risks. And when it comes to your health, you gotta be smart, gotta be careful. Don’t let nobody fool ya into thinkin’ there’s a quick fix for everythin’. Sometimes, the old ways are the best ways. A little bit of prayer, a little bit of patience, and a whole lot of common sense. That’s my advice, take it or leave it.
