Well, well, well, June 1, 2024, sure was a day, wasn’t it? Let me tell ya, I’ve seen all kinds of weather in my time, but that day, it sure wasn’t what I expected! If you’re lookin’ for what happened that day, here’s what I know from what the good folks around town were sayin’ and what I could gather. Now, don’t be expectin’ no fancy details, just the simple stuff.
First off, I gotta say, June 1st, 2024, wasn’t too hot but wasn’t exactly cool either. Somewhere in between, kind of like when you get that ol’ sweater out of the closet and you don’t know whether to wear it or not, ’cause it ain’t too cold, but you might need it by afternoon. That was the weather – not too bad but you could feel summer’s breath just waitin’ to come along and take over.
Temperature highs and lows – Well, from what I hear, the temperature in some places wasn’t too bad. Folks around Paris were talkin’ about a mild day, with highs of about 23°C, but the night cooled off to around 14°C. Not too bad, I’d say. It’s just right for a nice evening walk or sittin’ out on the porch with a cup of tea. Now, if you were up in the hills, like in those places where it gets a bit cooler, the temperatures coulda been a bit lower, but the wind wasn’t too bad, and that’s always a blessing.
Now, some of the towns were talkin’ about a bit of rain here and there, but it wasn’t enough to get you soaked. Maybe just enough to make the dirt smell nice. Nothing heavy, though. Just a little sprinkle, just enough to make the leaves shine real pretty, ya know? As for humidity, that was there too, but it wasn’t so sticky that you’d wanna avoid goin’ outside. It was bearable, like those humid days where you can still breathe but your hair ain’t havin’ a good time.
Clouds and Sunshine – Now, about the sky, it wasn’t all clear and bright like a spring day, but it wasn’t gloomy either. A few clouds here and there, but mostly, you could still see the sun pokin’ through every now and then. It was like the sun was tryin’ to make up its mind whether to show off or just take a nap behind the clouds. But hey, that made for a nice, easy day, not too harsh, just enough to remind ya summer’s comin’ on strong.
So, what else happened on June 1st, 2024? Well, not a whole lot of excitement. People were out doin’ their normal stuff, not many complaints about the weather. It was one of those days where the weather just kinda rolled on by, not makin’ a fuss, but still there enough for ya to notice. The kind of day where you could go out and work a little bit, then come back in and relax with a good book or just watch the day go by. A peaceful one.
As for the wind, it wasn’t all that strong. I’m sure a few folks up north might’ve felt a bit of a breeze, but it wasn’t a storm or nothin’. Just a gentle reminder that the seasons are changin’.
