Well, ain’t it a mess over there in Austin, Texas? Yep, murders. Real nasty business. Folks killin’ folks, just like that. Heard on the radio ’bout some fella, Machado-Hernandez or somethin’, locked up now. They say he did a double murder, plus some Amber Alert thing. Don’t really know what that is, but sounds bad, real bad.
Then there’s this old fella, 84 years old they say. Eighty-four! Killed his roommate and her dog too. What in tarnation makes a person do that? Dog didn’t do nothin’, I reckon. Police in Austin got him now, thank the Lord.
But wait, there’s more. Six people dead, three hurt. All in one day, sounds like. And over in two different places! Don’t make no sense. They say the fella who done it, he didn’t know them folks in Austin. Just random, like. Scary, real scary.
- Murder one: Some fella named Machado-Hernandez, locked up now.
- Murder two: Old fella, 84, killed roommate and her dog.
- Murder three: Six dead, three hurt, all over the place.
Reminds me of that Idaho thing I heard ’bout. College kids, all killed. Heard they want to give that fella the death penalty. Maybe they should. Some folks just ain’t right.
And that little girl, just 12 years old, in Houston. Killed by them fellas from somewhere else. Don’t rightly remember where. Terrible, just terrible. What’s the world comin’ to?
Them college kids, they was just out havin’ a good time, I bet. Then, bam! Gone. Madison, Kaylee, Xana, Ethan. Young folks, with their whole lives ahead of ’em. Don’t seem fair, does it?
Makes you wonder, don’t it? Why all this killin’? What’s wrong with people? Makes me want to lock my doors and never come out. But then, what kind of life is that? Just gotta pray, I reckon. Pray for the folks who died, and pray for the ones left behind. And pray that somethin’ changes, ’cause this sure ain’t right.
Austin used to be a nice place, I heard. Now? Seems like it’s turnin’ into somethin’ else. Somethin’ dark. Hope they catch all them killers and lock ’em up good. Hope they figure out why they done it. Maybe then, we can stop this madness.
But I don’t know. Seems like every time you turn on the TV, there’s another murder. Another tragedy. Makes you lose hope, sometimes. But we gotta keep goin’, gotta keep livin’. Gotta keep prayin’ for better days.
So, yeah, them murders in Austin. Bad business. Real bad. Pray for them folks, will ya?
