The Bluebonnet Hill Golf Course, it’s got a par of 72, which means it’s got a decent challenge for folks of all skill levels. I reckon that the total length of the course is about 6,503 yards, so it ain’t too long, but it sure enough keeps you on your toes. And the green fees, well, they’re mighty reasonable at just 9 bucks. Can’t get much better than that nowadays!
Now, I heard they built the course back in 1990, designed by a fella by the name of Jeffrey Brauer. It sits out there in the hills, so you get some nice views as you’re playin’—a lotta folks say it’s one of the prettiest spots to golf around Austin. It’s what they call a link-style course, which means it ain’t got all them trees and water hazards like other courses might.
