So, the other day, right? I was just chilling, and an old Pretty Ricky song came on shuffle. You know, "Grind With Me" or one of those. And it just hit me, like, man, how old are those dudes now? It’s been a minute since they were all over the radio.
My Little Internet Dig
First thing I did, obviously, was grab my phone and just type "how old is pretty ricky members" into the search bar. Expected it to be super straightforward, like a Wikipedia box would pop up or something. Nope. Not that easy, apparently.
I got a bunch of links, some to old forum discussions, some to those sketchy celebrity net worth sites that are probably all made up. I started clicking around, trying to find something that looked even halfway legit. It’s kinda funny how much outdated info is just floating around out there.
Breaking It Down Member by Member
After a bit of that, I figured, okay, this general search ain't cutting it. I gotta look these guys up individually. Who was in the group again? Let's see... there's Baby Blue, Pleasure P, Slick 'Em, and Spectacular. Right, got 'em.
So I started with Baby Blue. Typed in his name, plus "age" or "birthday." Found a few mentions of his birth year, seemed to be around 1984. So, quick math, 2023 minus 1984... that puts him at, what, 39? Give or take, depending on the month. Okay, one down.
Next up, Pleasure P. He had that solo career for a hot minute, so I thought his info might be easier to find. And yeah, pretty similar. Found a birth year, also 1984. So he's in the same age bracket. Makes sense, they often are in these groups.
Then I went for Slick 'Em. This one was a little tougher, not gonna lie. Fewer clear-cut "born on this date" things. I had to sift through some older articles, trying to find mentions. Eventually, I pieced together he was born around 1985. So, a year younger, roughly 38.
Finally, Spectacular. I remembered he’s Baby Blue’s brother, so I kinda expected them to be close in age. Found some info suggesting he was born in 1986. So, if that's right, he'd be about 37. The youngest of the original lineup, looks like.
So, What's the Tally?
Alright, so after all that clicking and a bit of basic subtraction, here’s what I gathered:
- Baby Blue: Hovering around 39.
- Pleasure P: Also about 39.
- Slick 'Em: Seems to be around 38.
- Spectacular: Looking like he’s about 37.
It wasn't like one single, perfect, verified list just handed to me. I had to poke around, compare a few sources, and just go with what seemed most consistent. You know how the internet is. But yeah, they're definitely not teenagers anymore, that's for sure. Makes you feel a bit old yourself when you think about how long ago their big hits were playing everywhere.
So that was my little quest for the day. Just a random thought that turned into a mini research project. Kinda wild what you can (eventually) find if you dig a bit.
